This painting is part of a series inspired by the interplay of opposites, such as light and dark, hard and soft, experimentation and tradition. I like to think these opposites are all expressions of the eternal play of Yin and Yang. The beginning experimentation is fundamental to this approach as it allows me to intuitively create original artworks using traditional Chinese Landscape Painting techniques.
