The composition uses a bending tree to connect the background mountains and the foreground rocks. I did this to create a more unified feeling in the painting, an expression of the oneness of nature.
I decided to add a touch a colour, either warm or cool, to distinguish elements from eachother and emphasize the sense of perspective. The forms are all directed by the same flow of ink and water, which represents the flow of energy the constantly surrounds and intertwines all things.
